Terms of service
Last updated 5 August 2026
By using FaqLens you agree to these terms. They are deliberately short and say what we actually do.
What FaqLens is
FaqLens fetches a public web page you nominate, tests it against a curated set of buyer-critical questions, and reports how answerable each one is to an AI assistant reading that page. Paid reports additionally include suggested rewrites.
It is a diagnostic tool. It does not modify your website, and nothing it produces is published anywhere unless you choose to publish it.
Accounts
You need an account to run a scan. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. One person, one account — do not share credentials to multiply the free allowance.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- scan pages you have no right to access, or that sit behind a login
- use FaqLens to overload someone else's website
- attempt to circumvent scan limits, quotas or payment
- resell or automate access to the service without our agreement
We may suspend an account that does any of these.
Suggested rewrites are drafts
Rewrites are generated by a language model from your page's own content. They are starting points, not verified statements of fact about your business. Where a report contains [bracketed placeholders], those are gaps for you to fill.
Read anything before you publish it. You are responsible for what appears on your website; we are not liable for consequences of publishing a draft unchecked.
Accuracy and availability
FaqLens reads raw HTML and cannot execute JavaScript, so pages rendered client-side may be assessed as having less content than a human sees. The reports reflect a model's judgement and can be wrong. We provide the service as-is, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or improve any particular metric.
We cap daily usage to control costs and may adjust those limits.
Payments
Report credits are sold in packs and do not expire. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous twelve months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue or rankings.
Ending it
You can stop using FaqLens at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may terminate access for breach of these terms. If we shut the service down, we will refund unused credits.
